Brisa Pilates offers a weekly schedule of classes for every level. Whether you want to dial up the intensity or take a more relaxed approach, we’ve got a class with a spot just for you. Create your own personalized schedule by choosing the classes that suit your needs.

About Classes

Sessions are offered in two levels: Essential Matwork and Essential/Intermediate Matwork. 

At the Essential Level, clients are introduced to the “Five basic principles” of STOTT PILATES® :

 

1. Breathing

2. Pelvic Placement

3. Rib Cage Placement

4. Scapular Movement and Stabilization

5. Head and Cervical Placement

 

At the Essential/Intermediate Level, we continue reviewing and reinforcing the 5 Basic Principles whilst building up and adding progression to the Essential Matwork. At this level clients should be familiar with the essential repertoire and are encouraged to work at their own pace.

Studio Classes

Beginners

Suitable for those new to Pilates or returning from a long break from exercising. In this class you will learn how to incorporate in the exercises the 5 basic anatomical principles of Pilates . These principles will help you perform the exercises safely and more effectively.

Mixed Level

Suitable to beginners and intermediate level. The tutor will be offering modifications to increase or decrease intensity according to your physical ability.

Intermediate

A total body workout. This class is designed to challenge your stability, stamina and endurance.

Strength and Stretch

A combination of strengthening exercises with a pause in between to streetch the muscles involved.

Stretch and Relax

In this class we focus on the mobility of your joints, awareness of your breathing, core activation, flexibility and relaxation. 

Managing an Injury 

This class is suitable to those recovering from an injury or dealing with back, hip, knee or shoulder pain.

Online Classes

Strength and Stretch

These classes are also available remotely via zoom. 

Pre- recorded

Recordings of classes are also available to purchase and do at home in your own time.

Drop In - £10

Every class has a £10 flat rate for drop ins.

x4 Classes £36

Packages of 4 classes can be purchased at a discounted rate, to be used within 4 weeks.

x8 Classes £70

Packages of 8 classes can be purchased at a discounted rate, to be used within 4 weeks.
